I see CEO’s position as a seat of service to my employee shareholders, our clients, and our vendors. Day to day, it is about risk mitigation, resource allocation and a thousand little nudges to help keep us on track. Ultimately, it’s about creating the context for success by defining and living a culture, creating a vision and strategy, and holding the organization accountable to itself. How did I get here? There are three consistent threads in my career, finance, operations, and strategy which have been applied in leadership positions in banking, international business operations, SaaS/software and post-secondary education with companies across the spectrum from start-up to Fortune 50.

Tom manages all outward-facing endeavors at Aprios, encompassing Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Strategic Relationships. Tom spent the majority of his career in the enterprise software industry, and he notably held the position of Senior Vice President of Sales at Digital River during the 2000s.   Tom embodies an entrepreneurial mindset, having engaged in over a dozen startups throughout his career. At Aprios, he utilizes this wealth of experience to aid early-stage clients in bringing their products to market. Beyond the office, Tom finds joy in golf, skiing, and all activities tied to rivers, lakes, and oceans.

As one of the original 13 founders of Aprios Custom Manufacturing, and the last remaining member of that group, I have dedicated nearly my career to the company. With a lifelong career in plastics, I bring extensive industry expertise to my role as VP of Manufacturing. I oversee all aspects of manufacturing, including job scheduling, procurement, and operations. My commitment is to ensure efficiency, quality, and innovation in our processes. I strive to maintain the high standards and pioneering spirit that have been the foundation of our company since its inception.

VP Finance

As the VP of Finance at Aprios Custom Manufacturing, I bring over 20 years of finance and operational experience. I'm passionate about meaningful reporting on product and process costing, and I excel in cross-functional development, process improvements, and strategy execution. I believe in understanding details to make informed decisions and emphasize the importance of supporting employee growth for overall company success. My approach is guided by the principles that understanding details drives improvement, and that investing in employees ensures collective success.

Quality Director

Brandon Burnette is an experienced quality manager and has spent over 10 years in process development, control and improvement. Before joining the DPI team, Burnette was a quality engineer with Spectralytics headquartered in Dassel, Minn. He studied industrial technology at North Dakota State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing.

Director of Engineering

Alex Leba is a highly motivated mechanical engineer who has prevalent knowledge and skills in mechanical design, fabrication and project management. Prior to joining DPI, Alex worked as a mechanical design engineer for a life science automation company based in MN. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering-Mechanical Focus from Minnesota State University Mankato.
